As implied by the name of the lab I direct– the Cognitive and Social Development Lab – the research I do spans a wide range of topics, shown here in a Venn diagram. Clicking on each of the tabs above will lead you to a brief statement about my interests in that area. The description of my interests also suggests the multi-disciplinary nature of my research: in addition to collaborations with psychologists in areas beyond developmental psychology (especially cognitive and social psychology), I collaborate with people in geography, geology, women’s studies, art education, and curriculum and instruction.
