Biography

Kingsley is a sixth year graduate student originally from Dayton, Ohio. She received her B.A. in Psychology from Washington and Lee University in 2014. Her research interests center on children’s gender role development, with emphases on both the acquisition of gender understanding and also the ways in which that understanding may affect children’s development. She is also interested in gender development in multiple contexts, specifically within immigrant populations. Outside of the lab, Kingsley enjoys playing sports, tinkering with historical cars, and spending time with her dog.
